For 40 years, VGM has been supporting the communities our employee owners call home. Each year around Valentine’s Day, we announce our Be The Change Partners for the year. In celebration of VGM’s 40th anniversary, this year’s partnerships hold deep meaning to VGM and its history.

VGM Group is dedicated to Making A Difference in the communities our employee owners call home. And we love to help support our brave veterans who have served this country. For Q4 2025, VGM was proud to focus our community giving efforts on those who have made sacrifices and put themselves on the front lines.

One of VGM Group’s purposes for doing business is to improve patients’ quality of life. To help further that mission, our Q3 2025 community giving efforts focus on accessibility, funding projects that help people engage with their community and maintain independence.

For the second quarter of 2025, VGM Group’s Community Giving Committee efforts focused on projects and organizations that help promote mental health awareness. Donations this quarter totaled $7,300. Learn more about these organizations below.

VGM Group, Inc. awards six $1,500 scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. VGM Group, in partnership with the Waterloo Community Foundation, has awarded six $1,500 scholarships to dependents of VGM Group employee owners, with two recipients being employee owners themselves.

Heartland Conference is excited to announce significant updates to our upcoming conference. Heartland is designed to address the unknowns in the industry and provide attendees with the latest insights, resources, and critical networking and relationship building opportunities needed to thrive in our growing industry.

Nominations for the 2024 HME Woman Of The Year have officially opened and are being accepted through May 1, 2025. In its ninth year, presented by VGM Group, Inc., this award recognizes a woman who has made significant contributions throughout her career to her community, company, and to the home medical equipment industry as a whole.
