Creating Your Future at VGM Group extends beyond simply changing roles: It can be personal and professional growth. Hadie Dobson, a Project Manager at VGM & Associates, exemplifies this through her journey of leadership development. After joining VGM in 2021, she actively sought out opportunities to grow, starting with her discovery of the VGM Young Professionals (YP) employee resource group. Hadie initially joined the YP Committee as the membership engagement chair, embracing the challenge despite not knowing exactly what to expect.
Her dedication and impact were quickly recognized, and within a year, she was asked to take on the role of Committee Chair. Though hesitant at first, encouragement from leaders like Chief People Officer Sara Laures helped her embrace the opportunity. Over her three-year term, Hadie gained valuable leadership experience, built cross-departmental relationships, and deepened her sense of employee ownership.
