The National Center for Employee Ownership (NCEO) recently announced that VGM Group now ranks as the 97th largest majority employee-owned company on its 2025 Employee Ownership 100 list. This marks the first time VGM Group has secured a place on the list.

For the second quarter of 2025, VGM Group’s Community Giving Committee efforts focused on projects and organizations that help promote mental health awareness. Donations this quarter totaled $7,300. Learn more about these organizations below.

VGM Group, Inc. awards six $1,500 scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year. VGM Group, in partnership with the Waterloo Community Foundation, has awarded six $1,500 scholarships to dependents of VGM Group employee owners, with two recipients being employee owners themselves.

VGM Group is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Wendland to Chief Legal Officer. In this newly created role, Wendland will oversee all legal matters for VGM Group, ensuring compliance and providing strategic legal guidance to support the company's growth and innovation. With this promotion, Wendland also joins VGM’s senior leadership team.

VGM Group, Inc. has been named Employee Owned Company Of The Year by the Iowa/Nebraska Chapter of The ESOP Association (TEA). The award was presented on Feb. 27. VGM Group is now in the running for the National Employee Owned Company Of The Year Award, which will be announced during TEA’s National Conference May 13–16 in Washington, D.C.
