NewsVGM Group Named Cedar Valley Employer of Choice

VGM Group was once again selected as a Cedar Valley Employer of Choice by the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier, marking the company’s seventh consecutive year receiving this recognition. Additionally, VGM Group was named a favorite in the Courier’s Best of the Best in the Large Company to Work For Category. One theme that continues to stand out: VGM Group’s ongoing investment in its employee owners. 

“Investing in our employee owners is one of our top priorities as a company,” said VGM Group Chief People Officer Sara Laures. “We are constantly looking for new ways to help employee owners achieve both their personal and professional goals. And because it’s their company, we want to make sure they feel supported.” 

One way VGM Group is supporting its employee owners is through programs such as the Family Fund, an employee-owner funded program that provides relief for employee owners going through financial struggles. Over $300,000 has been awarded to employee owners through this program. Recently, VGM Group held its Pizza, Puzzles, & Pints fundraiser, which helped raise over $14,000 for the program.
