VGM Group Is Hiring a President to Head Its VGM & Associates Division

The role leads the company’s membership communities

VGM Group, Inc. has begun the search for a president to head its VGM & Associates division, the nation’s largest member service organization for post-acute healthcare. This role leads a 70-person team serving VGM’s 3000 member organizations, as well as vendor partners, and the broader HME industry. The candidate selected will also join VGM Group’s 10-person senior leadership team. VGM expects the search to be completed by the end of July.

The news comes as Clint Geffert announces his resignation to pursue a new position with a manufacturer and distributor in the HME space. Geffert joined VGM in 2012. As president, he focused on identifying solutions for VGM’s membership so they could focus on providing higher quality care at a better cost.

“Clint remains a friend to VGM and a valued leader in the HME industry,” said VGM CEO Mike Mallaro. “We’re thankful for his service to VGM, its employee owners, and the customers they serve. And we look forward to continuing to work with him in this member or regional account managers.

As an industry leader, Geffert sat on multiple industry boards throughout his 10-year tenure. And the ideal candidate will also be a demonstrated leader within HME. For this reason, VGM is conducting a nationwide search for this role and will also consider internal candidates.

While VGM conducts its search, it wants to remind the members and it serves that, with VGM, they are part of something bigger.

VGM will continue to serve its members, vendor partners, and its community,” said Mallaro. “They will continue to receive the exceptional service, insight, advocacy, and value-added services for which VGM has been known for more than three decades.

If members or vendor partners have any questions regarding the transition, they are encouraged to reach out to their ber or regional account managers.
